One advantage to driving into Columbus once a week to work at ORTL is that I can spend some time with my family in the city before heading back to the school on the hill. A couple of Fridays ago, I did just that. My mom and I met my maternal grandparents for dinner at Cracker Barrel on what seemed like the first autumn evening of the year. After a couple of mugs of hot chocolate (with whipped cream!) and dinner, of course, my mom and I met my grandparents back at their house. Having been at school for the last three years, I havent spent as much time at my grandparents' house as I did when I was growing up. That Friday was a nice opportunity to drink in the warmth of their house again.
