State Oratory Contest

Announcing the 2016 Ohio Right to Life Oratory Contest

The 2016 Ohio Right to Life Oratory Contest will be held on April 30, 2016! We have always had outstanding participation at the state level. In 2014, Naomi del Guidice, winner of the Ohio Right to Life Oratory Contest, won second place at the national competition in Louisville! Our 2015 winner, Ellie Wittman, had the opportunity to speak on stage with Dr. Ben Carson at Dayton Right to Life's Viva La Vita! Join us in 2016 for another phenomenal competition!

To participate in the state contest, high school juniors and seniors must first win their local contest. Find out if there is a contest in your community by contacting Katie Franklin at or by calling (614) 547-0099, ext. 304.

The National Right to Life Oratory Contest strives to promote the ability of high school juniors and seniors to share their pro-life views with others. Although speaking ability is important, this contest also seeks to help teens organize and express their pro-life views. We also strive to give the contestants an opportunity to meet other pro-life teens.
