Akron: National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children

Every day, more than 3,000 children are killed through abortion and most bodies are discarded with medical waste. It's time that we honor those lives and give them the dignity that abortion denied them. On Saturday, September 8, 2018, Right to Life of Northeast Ohio will sponsor an interfaith memorial service on the fifth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, calling on pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites and memorials of our aborted brothers and sisters.

Memorial service participants to date include Denise Leipold (Executive Director, Right to Life of Northeast Ohio), Pastor Daren Brake (The House of the Lord, Akron), Fr. Norm Douglas (St. Vincent Church, Akron), Representative Kristina Roegner (Ohio District 37), Klara McKee (Kent State University Students for Life) keynote speaker Shelly Welden, musicians Jeff & Kira Andrea, and the honor and color guards from the Knights of Columbus.
