Legislative Day is devoted to advocating for pro-life laws at the Ohio Statehouse. It is a day for pro-life Ohioans like YOU to meet with your legislators and be a voice for the voiceless!
This year’s Pro-life Legislative Day will take place on Wednesday, April 5. Start the day with a legislative briefing session with Ohio Right to Life at the Downtown Renaissance. From there, we’ll head to the offices of Ohio’s legislative leaders to urge them to support our bills. Then, we’ll head back to the Renaissance for lunch and pro-life fellowship!
Over the last six years in Ohio, we have seen remarkable change.
Since 2010, abortions in Ohio have dropped 25 percent! Ohio Right to Life has successfully advocated for the passage of 18 pro-life laws, including Ohio’s Late-Term Abortion Ban and, most recently, Ohio’s Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which protects the unborn at 20 weeks!
Legislators, pro-life and pro-choice alike, need to hear from their constituents. They need to hear from you because there is more work to do and we refuse to rest on our laurels.
In 2015, there were 20,976 abortions in the state of Ohio. That’s 20,976 innocent babies who needed our voices–all of our voices.
In 2017, Ohio Right to Life is advocating for 6 pro-life laws that will impact this number, changing hearts and saving lives. Will you help us in advocating for these laws? Will you devote just one day to ensuring that the right to life is respected for EVERY Ohioan?
