On October 12th, hundreds of theaters all over the country will premiere the long-awaited Gosnell Movie. But on Tuesday, September 25th, Greater Columbus Right to Life and Citizens for Community Values will be bringing producer Ann McElhinney to Columbus for a special sneak-peek of the film before its nationwide theatrical release.
The film is the shocking true story of the investigation and trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell - his 30 year killing spree, and the political and media establishment that tried to cover it up. The clinic was originally investigated for illegal prescription drug sales, but a raid by the DEA, FBI, and local law enforcement revealed crimes that they could not have expected within the clinic.
This film is based on the NY Times Bestseller -- Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer, and when mainstream groups took a hard "pass" on the content it became one of the most successful crowdfunded films in history.
The movie is rated PG-13. Youth under the age of 13 will not be permitted without a parent unless advance arrangements have been made (for example, in the context of a youth group with appropriate permission slips). A limited number of tickets are available for $10 each. If you would like to talk about a discount for the purchase of bulk tickets or assist in underwriting other costs associated with the film, please email GCRTL.
