COLUMBUS, Ohio— Today, Ohio Right to Life released a statement on the results of the May 3rd Primary Election. Nearly all candidates endorsed by the Ohio Right to Life PAC, 92% and 11 out of 12 contested primary races, won by large margins.

The following statement can be attributed to President of Ohio Right to Life Michael Gonidakis:

“Every election cycle, Ohio Right to Life and its connected PAC thoroughly vets and endorses qualified pro-life candidates who can win at the ballot box. Time and time again Ohio Right to Life has proven to be the gold standard in primary elections. This year was no different. We endorsed J.D. Vance, before President Donald Trump, and Governor Mike DeWine, both of whom were strongly supported by Ohioans statewide.

“Pro-life voters know that when Ohio Right to Life stands behind a candidate they can trust that recommendation and they can have full confidence knowing that our sole priority when making these key decisions is the protection of human lives.

“We congratulate Ohio’s pro-life winners of this week’s primary election, all of whom are 100% pro-life.   We look forward to working diligently to get them elected this November. We also congratulate all the amazing pro-life candidates on their incredible efforts this year. We are encouraged to have seen such a strong pro-life message from the majority of the candidates on the ballot.”

Founded in 1967, Ohio Right to Life, with more than 35 chapters and local affiliates, is Ohio’s oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization. Recognized as the flagship of the pro-life movement in Ohio, ORTL works through legislation and education to promote and defend innocent human life from conception to natural death.
