State Treasurer Announces Family Forward Initiative

COLUMBUS, Ohio– Today, Ohio Right to Life joined pro-life State Treasurer Robert Sprague as he announced his Family Forward initiative. This legislation, sponsored by Representative Jon Cross, would make low-interest loans available to adoptive families to help alleviate the costs associated with adoption.

“Ohio Right to Life is excited to partner with State Treasurer Sprague and Representative Cross on the creation of Family Forward, a pro-family initiative brought forward by two great pro-life officeholders. This innovative legislation breaks down arguably the largest barrier to adoption for Ohio families – cost. This new program will open doors to ensure that adoptions are more affordable and accessible for all Ohioans.”
