Ohio Pregnancy Centers Seek State Funding
COLUMBUS, Ohio--Today,Ohio Right to Life hosted its Pro-Life Legislative Day, which featured Secretary of State Jon Husted as the keynote speaker at the luncheon. Representatives from pregnancy centers across Ohio came to Columbus to share their work with their legislators and to advocate for funding for the Pregnancy and Parenting Support Program. Ohio Right to Life successfully advocated for the addition of the program to the State Budget which passed out of the Ohio House in April.

60 Percent of Americans Support 20-Week Ban
COLUMBUS, Ohio--Today, Ohio Right to Life announced landmark legislation that will ban abortions in Ohio at 20 weeks gestation, the point during pregnancy at which pre-born children can feel pain. This legislation, which is similar to National Right to Life's Pain-Capable legislation, will be introduced in the Ohio General Assembly in the coming weeks. Significantly, the legislation challenges the viability limit on abortion restrictions, commonly triggered at 24 weeks, that the U.S. Supreme Court imposed in the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.
