This Week's Pro-Life Update
The fight for life continues! Check out some of this week’s pro-life developments.
Cancelled Abortion Pill Reversal study reveals the dangers of the abortion pill
Earlier this year, a University of California, Davis study of Abortion Pill Reversal was cancelled due to participant safety concerns. Although this move was instantly spun by the pro-abortion researchers to cast Abortion Pill Reversal in a negative light, closer inspection of the study reveals that a majority of safety issues in the study resulted from mifepristone, the Abortion Pill, not the Abortion Pill Reversal process.

Hearings begin on the Family Forward Initiative
Yesterday, the House State and Local Government Committee heard sponsor testimony from Representative Jon Cross on House Bill 405, called the Family Forward Initiative. This important legislation will allow the State Treasurer’s office to make loans more readily accessible to Ohio families seeking to adopt. Ohio Right to Life was proud to stand with our State Treasurer Robert Sprague and Representative Cross when they announced this legislation last month, and we are grateful to them both for recognizing and addressing this critical need for so many families. Pregnancy center tax credit bill passes out of committee
On Tuesday, Ohio Right to Life joined two Ohio pregnancy centers, Pregnancy Decision Health Center and Elizabeth’s New Life Center, in support of House Bill 297, the Pregnancy Center Tax Credit Act as it passed out of the Ohio House’s Ways and Means Committee. This legislation would provide a nonrefundable tax credit equal to 50% of the taxpayer’s donations (up to $1,000), not to exceed the individual’s tax liability. Ohio Right to Life is proud to advocate on behalf of Ohio’s pro-life Pregnancy Centers and the vital support they offer to women and children.
Giving Tuesday: Thank You for Giving LIFE!
To everyone who joined in giving the gift of LIFE on Giving Tuesday, we want to extend our most sincere thanks. Without your generous support, our work would not be possible. Because of you, we are able to continue in our life-saving mission of advocating for the most vulnerable in our society: the unborn. Together, we are Pro-Life Ohio!
